Trio is a three driver fully-tubeless hybrid Universal In-Ear Monitor (UIEM). An audiophile UIEM in the sweet spot between reference-level clarity and a smooth sound signature perfect for extended listening. Each ergonomic Trió shell is machined out of solid aluminum. The internal chambers are precisely milled in order to house the tubeless drivers and shape their sound. Its understated neutral color palette is topped off with an elegant brushed aluminum faceplate.

Trió relies on the Frequency eXtension Chamber (FXC) for superior mid-range control. The air volume of the back-vented dynamic driver is precisely controlled, delivering perfectly placed mid frequencies, giving vocals and instruments a remarkably natural sound.

Tubeless In-Ear Audio (tia) is a patented IEM design methodology that aims to reduce unwanted resonance and distortion for a transparent and lifelike sound signature. The tia system is comprised of three major elements: open balanced armature tia drivers, the tia single-bore design, and tia acoustic chambers. Trio utilizes the complete Tia system; its three drivers radiate freely into the Tia bore with no obstructions to the drivers.

Apex

Air Pressure Exchange (Apex) is a patented vent that releases air pressure in a sealed ear canal all while retaining standard IEM levels of isolation; enabling music enthusiasts to listen more comfortably for longer. This venting alleviates listener fatigue and allows for a much more realistic soundstage. Apex is integrated in Trió all the way down to the way the shell is milled, offering similar pressure release and isolation to our m15 module.

LID

Linear Impedance Design (LID) is a patented circuit that corrects the non-linear electrical resistance of the multiple driver-sets comprising this 3 driver IEM. Varying source amplifier output impedance in devices like smartphones, body packs, DAC/amps, and DAPs typically results in varying frequency response across them, depending on the increase in resistance. Restoring proper interaction with the source and preserving the desired sound signature enables a consistent reliable sound.
