Description
Brooklyn Bridge is identical to Brooklyn DAC+ in terms of audio circuits and performance but has the addition of a built-in Network Streamer. The AES/EBU digital input is replaced with an Ethernet network connector, a WiFi antenna and a USB port for external music hard drive.
Music Streaming
Just add a tablet (iPad/Android) for complete music system to stream Tidal MQA, Qobuz Hi-Res or other streaming services or play local files connected to Brooklyn Bridge USB port. Roon requires additional Roon Core. Like in the Brooklyn DAC+ there is a line and phono analogue preamplifier and a reference headphone amplifier.
D/A Converter
A high-quality DAC chipset (Sabre 9028PRO) and ultra-precise clock ensure the audio reproduction stays true to the original. The redesigned analogue section creates an even better separation of channels and lowers noise level. Brooklyn Bridge provides faithful sound processing that is transparent but also very musical.
The listener can be sure they’ll hear exactly what the artist and the music producer heard during the performance in the recording studio. On top of this, Brooklyn Bridge also functions as an MQA hardware decoder. Popular software such as JRiver, Audirvana and Foobar2000 allows you to use all the advanced features available in the device.
Headphone Amp
This high-performance amplifier achieves precise and dynamic sound even from hard-to-drive headphones. Connect two pairs of classic headphones or one pair of balanced headphones. Fans of vinyl will appreciate the possibility of connecting a turntable directly to the analogue inputs of the DAC. Brooklyn Bridge is equipped with a high-quality phono preamplifier compatible with MM and MC cartridges.
Interface
All digital inputs can be routed into a computer via USB2. This allows connection of external digital sources such as CD Players and digitising ADCs. Universal remote included.
