Description
Debut 3.0 DB63-BK Bookshelf Speakers
Building on the success of the award-winning DB62, the ELAC Debut 3.0 DB63 takes bookshelf speaker performance to the next level. Combining a newly developed 6.5-inch aramid fibre woofer with a custom 1-inch aluminium dome tweeter, the DB63 delivers detailed highs, controlled bass and a balanced, engaging sound. Its refined cabinet design, internal bracing and elegant black ash finish make it equally at home in dedicated hi-fi systems and modern living spaces.
Custom Aluminium Tweeter
The proprietary 1-inch aluminium dome tweeter has been carefully engineered to deliver clear, detailed high frequencies with excellent transient response. Its lightweight yet rigid construction improves precision and power handling, helping the DB63 reproduce music and movie soundtracks with greater openness and accuracy.
Newly Developed 6.5-Inch Aramid Fibre Woofer
At the heart of the DB63 is a newly engineered 6.5-inch aramid fibre woofer. The cone combines low weight with excellent rigidity and damping characteristics, allowing the driver to produce deep, controlled bass while maintaining clarity through the midrange. An oversized magnet system and 1.5-inch voice coil further improve dynamics, precision and overall performance.
Stylish And Sophisticated Aesthetics
The Debut 3.0 DB63 features a clean, contemporary design that integrates easily into a wide variety of interiors. A black ash cabinet finish and satin black front baffle give the speaker a refined, understated appearance.
Engineered For Endurance
Built using carefully selected materials and robust construction techniques, the DB63 is designed to provide reliable performance for years to come while maintaining the acoustic qualities expected from the Debut series.
Internally Braced Cabinet
Strategically positioned internal bracing reinforces the cabinet structure and helps reduce unwanted resonances and vibrations. This allows the drivers to operate with greater accuracy, resulting in cleaner and more focused sound reproduction.
Easy To Power
Designed to work comfortably with a wide range of amplifiers and AV receivers, the Debut 3.0 DB63 offers an accessible route to high-quality sound without demanding specialist amplification.
Magnetic Grilles
Magnetically attached grilles provide a clean, hardware-free appearance and can be easily removed for listeners who prefer the look of exposed drivers.
Distinguishing Phase Plug
A distinctive phase plug complements the newly developed woofer design while contributing to the DB63’s refined visual identity and contemporary styling.
Legendary Sound, Elevated Style
The Debut 3.0 series combines ELAC’s acoustic engineering expertise with a more sophisticated modern design. With its carefully developed drivers, rigid cabinet construction and versatile performance, the DB63 delivers the clarity, dynamics and musicality expected from ELAC while remaining accessible to a wide range of hi-fi enthusiasts.

The transaction process with Premium Sound was smooth and easy. The delivery was next day as promised. Very happy with the service from Premium Sound!
The Elac DB63 speakers start off with little bass and quite high treble, as the speakers do require burn in. At the 20 hour mark of burn in I could sense them start to bring in bass and fill in frequencies across the band. The highs calmed down to being very pleasant. I’m now at 30 hours and they keep opening up, the bass is starting to dig real deep. I like the sonic character and can say these are a very good purchase . Just give them time to burn in. I’m sure after 60-100 hours they will continue to improve. I’m running them with my Cambridge Audio axa35 / schiit multibit dac which drives them well. But I do feel a more powerful amplifier (50watt+) will bring the Elac db63 to even more impressive response. But the axa35 is certainly sufficient for my 3.5 x 4×5 x 3m (sitting in a bay window 45cm out – 1.5-2ft distance I think is a good distance from boundaries) high room for now until I upgrade later this year. I have a feeling the 50 watt Rega brio mk7 would be a good pairing as it I’m told it is a dynamic amp and would bring out more musicality. I feel that these speakers are still getting burned in and there is more to offer. They are very satisfying. The soundstage is very good. I listen to mainly new kpop and ambient electronica like massive attack and these speakers do a great job. The highs have reached a really pleasant level, detailed and not fatiguing at all. Looking forward to many more hours of listening to these. Just remember to be patient during the first 20-30 hours of burning in they will start to come to life.

I starting looking some time ago for a new pair of speakers that could be a good match within my new hi-fi system. I first came across them whilst reading an article about them by an American musician, dj and record label owner. After that, it became love at first for me. Then, I came across the London based store Premium Sound on the web and that was it……Another love at first sight……However, I still needed guidance and further technical help before I could really make sure that they delivered the kind of sound I was looking for my needs. Well….The service and the received combined with the knowledge provided, helped me understand that it was time to look no further. My love for these speakers turned quickly into pure and total obsession for them – in a good way, by the way…..
I had to have them and thank goodness I did. The sound provides me with depth, clarity and the musicality I was longing for from a bookshelf speaker.
They hold a solid weight which marries very well with their elegance.
Very glad I discovered the Elac Brand..XX
