Klipsch 5.1 RP-280F Speaker Package

Reference Premiere RP-280F Floorstanding Speakers

Klipsch has come up with a brand new speaker line with its RP-280 5.1 speaker system. It is still bound to the classic Klipsch idea, but its appearance is room friendly in style and shape. The main floorstanding speakers are the Klipsch RP-280F Reference Premiere which is the largest of their kind in the Klipsch series. Each of these speakers has been designed with two powerful woofers that have been installed at 43 inches high. The heavy bass reflex enclosure weighs a heavy 62.5 pounds. The drivers are 8” and created from a ceramic and metal composite that enables strict rigidity and low weight.

The design within this system provides for a low resonance reproduction range, combined with a deep fulfilling bass reproduction. Together, these drivers have up to 1.5 kHz to work with. The Tractrix Horn keeps the sound from distorting, and the dynamic tweeter helps to reach beyond the bounds of sound. This keeps the sound energy primarily focussed on the vertical and horizontal planes. This means that the sound energy is then focussed and blasted at the ideal listening position.

If you love the deep bass sounds within your music, you’ll appreciate how the RP-280F floorstanding speakers utilize a bass reflex design, with optimum air flow noise emitting from the bass reflex port.

Klipsch RP-450C and RP-250S

The Klipsch RP-450C is one large speaker for those who need to hear big sound. It is a large sized speaker of over 31 inches in length. It contains four 5.25” Cerametallic Cone Woofers and a 1” Titanium LTS Tweeter with Hybrid Tractrix Horn. If you’re seeking loud volume and maximum sound, you’ll appreciate these big speakers. It contains high-quality drivers that provide crisp and compelling dialogue in your TV shows or movies. The Klipsch RP-450C provides real theatre sound so you don’t have to go to an upscale cinema.

Completing this set are two RP-250S dipole rear speakers. They’re trapezoidal and designed for mounting on the wall at left and right sides of your home theatre room. They contain double 5.25” woofers with Tractrix horns within a dipole array to create wonderful but diffuse surround sound.

Klipsch R-115SW Subwoofer

Klipsch R-115SW subwoofer is approximately 20” cubed. It’s been built with a 15″ spun-copper Cerametallic woofer with a strong magnet and 400-watt amplifier. Klipsch has spent time and resources on creating the perfect subwoofer. It contains a large driver area that allows for space to move. The powerful amplifier is perfect for emitting that dry, dynamic and deep bass sound. It has a bass reflex port which isn’t your usual tube, instead, it has large-sized slot opening at the front. You’ll hear nice flows at high volume.
