The Elipson Omega 100 RIAA Turntable features a minimalistic and sophisticated aesthetic. Equipped with a RIAA EQ preamp, the turnable is capable of delivering the warm sound of vinyl with precision and works well with almost any amplifier.
This ergonomic model has a large chassis accommodating the various functions highlighted by a piece of brushed or chrome metal. The shape, finish and attention to detail emanate French refinement. No screws are visible, the hood is tailor-made and the corners are rounded for a gentle look. The high-tech design makes this model the neo-vintage asset of the show.
Every feature of the Omega 100 is optimised. The carbon arm, designed by Elipson’s own engineers, is equipped with an Ortofon OM10 cell. The suspension motor eliminates friction and the shift generator is extremely accurate, allowing playback at 33, 45 and 78rpm. Designed and manufactured in France, the Elipson turntable boasts exceptional know-how. Every day, a team of enthusiasts ensure production is carried out with the utmost care and attention.
High-Density Top Plate
The Omega turntables have a high-density acrylic top plate that comes in a variety of colours (red, black and white) and sits on top of the electronics neatly stowed beneath. Connections consist of RCA phono output sockets, Elipson provides a cable to hook these up to your amp, an inlet for the power supply and a secret switch. This is used to adjust the phono stage for MM or MC cartridges.
Pressed Steel Platter
The platter is small at just under 11″ across and made of pressed steel, it’s topped by an acrylic mat and propelled by the shiny spindle on a motor that is decoupled from the plinth. Speed change is electronic and can even provide 78rpm should you have some Shellac discs in your trunk.
Carbon Fibre Tube
The tonearm has a carbon fibre tube for stiffness and plastic bearings with an adjustable counterweight for the Ortofon OM10 cartridge provided.
