Trade In

Our trade-in service allows you to use your current audio equipment as partial payment towards a new purchase. Simply provide us with details about your gear through our trade-in form or email — we will promptly assess its value, and provide you credit towards your new purchase. We will also handle the collection of your items for added convenience.

Price-match offer

We offer a price-match service against any UK-based store, ensuring that if you come across a lower price for the items you’ve chosen from another retailer, we’ll match it for you.

If you find such a price discrepancy within 7 days of receiving your purchased goods from us, we will refund the difference.

Please note that the item offered by the competitor must precisely match our price-matched item, including colour and other variations, and it must be readily available for immediate dispatch. This policy applies exclusively to products sold within the United Kingdom and denominated in GBP (British Pounds Sterling).

Our Warranty

As part of our service, we offer a 5-year warranty on all items, unless otherwise specified in the product listing.

In the unlikely event that your product experiences any faults within this warranty period, we will repair it at no cost to you. This encompasses any manufacturing defects or issues arising from craftsmanship.

This policy came into effect on January 1, 2024, and the warranty takes effect from the date of purchase.

Exclusions:

  • Normal wear and tear.
  • Damage caused by misuse, negligence, or accidents.
  • Unauthorised repairs or modifications.
  • Damage resulting from improper care or storage

To claim:

  1. Contact our customer service team info@premiumsound.co.uk at with your proof of purchase and a detailed description of the issue.
  2. Once the issue is confirmed to be covered by the warranty, we will repair or replace the product and return it to you promptly.
  3. Our team will guide you through the warranty process, which may include returning the product for inspection.

Please note:

  • The warranty is non-transferable and applies only to the original purchaser.
  • We reserve the right to determine the validity of warranty claims and to deny claims that do not meet the terms and conditions outlined herein.

By making a purchase on our website, you acknowledge and accept the terms of this warranty.

Financing

We offer a financing option for purchases under £1,500 in partnership with Klarna. Klarna is a payment service provider that takes end-to-end responsibility for your payment. Select ‘Klarna’ at the checkout and follow the steps to complete the payment.

At present financing is not available for purchases over £1,500.

We also provide PayPal Credit, which will appear as a payment option on PayPal when you choose this method during checkout. Please note that eligibility for credit is determined by PayPal.

Additionally, we offer Clearpay as an installment provider which you may also choose at the checkout stage.

Installation

Depending on the type of installation required, we may deal with it ourselves or outsource it to an installer.

Our knowledgeable technicians can assist with system installation, turntable set-up, AV receiver calibration and system maintenance. Our hourly rate is £50. We also offer a half day rate of £125 and a full day rate of £250. Please note, we can only provide installation services within London borders.

For any other type of installation work we will provide a quotation from one of our sub-contractors.

Repairs

In case you have a faulty item that requires repair, we will be able to assist you by collecting the item, inspecting it in order to confirm the fault and consequently sending it to the manufacturer’s service centre. Please note that we do not offer in-house repair service.

In case the item is covered by the manufacturers’ warranty it will likely qualify for a free-of-charge repair by the manufacturer.

In all out-of-warranty cases we will be able to provide a quotation depending on the cost of labour, parts, shipping and packaging.

In addition, we can also supply individual spare parts directly from the manufacturer, subject to availability.

Please note that we ultimately reserve the right to refuse the non-warranty repair and that every case will be considered on an individual basis.

Home Trial

We also provide a Home-Trial service for specific products within our inventory. Please be aware that this service is not available for all products and is restricted to certain items stocked in our store.
