Subwoofer cables are designed to carry low-frequency audio signals from an AV receiver, amplifier or processor to a powered subwoofer. Whether you are building a home cinema system, adding weight to a stereo setup or replacing a basic lead with something better made, the right cable helps keep bass clean, controlled and free from unwanted hum.
Most subwoofer cables use a single RCA connection, often referred to as an LFE cable in home cinema systems. This connects the subwoofer output on your amplifier or AV receiver to the LFE or line input on the subwoofer.
